The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) is an independent research organisation. We connect people and knowledge to create innovations that sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of companies and the well-being of society. That is our mission and that is what we, the more than 3,500 professionals at TNO, work on every day. Together with partners, we are working on transitions in nine social domains that we have identified together with our stakeholders.

TNO contributes to the realization of reliable, efficient and sustainable user value in construction, civil infrastructure and the maritime and offshore sector. With our pioneering role in the development and application of new technologies, we support the Dutch government in managing and maintaining its infrastructure and the industry in expanding and building up their international position.
